not impressed but might work better for others

Basically, *I* was hoping this one was flexible enough to do some minor pain management, not necessarily expecting a "yes this is an awesome deal for usual purposes intended". It IS flexible, pretty quiet, and decent strength, but at least for me it does not work well for either minor chronic pain management or for toy purposes, and I am glad I didn't pay full price for mine either.

(If you can deal with batteries, BSwish's Classic is just about the same cost and is much more likely to give you a fun time and/or make your sore spots feel better.)

Was the item as described?
Hype FlexiWand arrived on time. Its appearance and dimensions are as stated, and it is a very cool-looking toy. It's flexible, and holds its position well, until pressure is put on the button end; I thought it might "click" somewhat securely into different positions, rather than bending like a wire. The silicone is also surprisingly rough; I didn't expect luxury-silky texture, but I did expect it to be uniform and smooth, rather than patchy and abrasive. The battery life is relatively short, at about 45 minutes, but I knew that upon purchase.

Was it noisy, quiet, somewhere in between?
This toy produces a surprisingly strong, borderline finger-numbing buzz, and it's fairly quiet.

Was it effective for its intended use?
When I bought this toy, I was seeking a small G-spot stimulator that I could use mostly hands-free (i.e., leave it in to enhance/ complement the feeling of whatever my hands were doing); it does pretty well in that regard. The variety of settings is really nice (although it does take a few settings a moment to "warm up," which may or may not indicate a defect.) I tried using this toy externally as a clit stimulator, but found it much too buzzy for me - it was numbing, and borderline painful. (I don't generally like external vibrators, though, so this is definitely a matter of personal preference.)

Is it a product you would buy again or recommend to friends?
I bought this product on sale for about $40, and at that price, it's okay. I would not have been happy at all if I'd spent $59.99. While I truly like the size and shape, and find the design interesting, I found FlexiWand to be "just okay" overall, and I most likely wouldn't recommend it to anybody else.
