A Good All-around Dildo

I bought my Alan Dildo from Tantus about 1.5 years ago. It's not my favorite part of my collection, but it's a good, non-intimidating, well-rounded dildo. I love the caramel color! Though I generally prefer dildos with non-realistic colors, it is nice to have one which matches my skin tone. This dildo is great because of its slightly larger than average size without being humongous and intimidating. If I am with a new partner, the Alan is what I'd bring out first.

I do like the squishiness of this toy. It is not as squishy as my Vixskin Buck (which I feel might be a little too squishy for me), but it has some give. I usually prefer toys with more texture than the Alan and that is part of the reason I am giving it 4/5 stars. If you like the bumps and ridges and veins, this might not be your first choice. However, if you prefer something a bit smoother, I'd definitely recommend you check this out.

The biggest downfall is the slot at the base for the suction cup and bullet vibe. I rarely use those attachments, so there is a hollow spot from the base through the middle of the dildo. It's not noticeable when being penetrated by it, but I think it makes it a little harder to stay in place which using it was a harness. Granted, I knew this slot would be there when I bought the dildo. I just wish there would have been an option to purchase one without it.

Overall, it is good. I don't regret this purchase despite my criticisms.
