Good quality, a good length. I’m 6’1 with long slim toned legs. They stayed up. Lovely pattern, all in all very pleased. They have lasted a long time and are still going strong. They look lovely with some of my white lingerie. As they are hold-ups they're not so easy to attach to suspenders.

The Ballerina Hush Hush Patterned Hold Ups are not only classy but extremely sexy. They have a sheer effect, so you can still see skin without revealing too much. I really love the intricate almost floral detailing up the sides of the legs. It then goes into a frill that is formed with the same dotted design. The lace is amazing. The floral detailing is extremely pretty and not too lacy, if you understand what I mean. Some can look like doilies. The lace on these is perfect. Really sets off these hold ups. The Ballerina Hush Hush Patterned Hold Ups are held up by silicone strips that are backed against the lace. It sticks to your skin so they don't roll down. And to my surprise it works this is my first pair of hold ups and I never really knew how they worked, but yes all through our hanky panky they were in place until I took them off. I really found them comfortable and easy to wear, I felt extremely sexy, and the detailing really made me feel feminine. Which is not a thing I feel often as I usually wear mumsy clothing. I felt like I really dressed up for the occasion and I will be packing these to wear for my wedding night. They are just perfect bridal lingerie, and with my upcoming wedding around the corner I must remember to pack them!

I bought these stockings with the intention of wearing them on my wedding day. I thought from the images here that they looked really beautiful and that the pattern would add an extra pretty look to my bridal legs. When they arrived I will still happy with my choice. The packaging looked lovely, with the same image as on the site and a classic ivory cardboard sleeve.The material is really delicate and sheer, exactly what you would expect from pretty stockings like theses. However, when I tried the stockings on I found out they were not quite right for me, and did not give me the special look I was hoping for my big day. The pattern, although pretty, is only up each side of the leg. This means it looks weird and completely wrong if it is twisted at all; it needs to be in a really straight line up the side of your leg to look right. This was really difficult to achieve, and annoyed me right away. I was expecting the pattern to me more all over the stockings. I'm a size 14 and my legs are pretty large in the thigh area. I'm also about 5'5" tall, with average sized legs. On me, the stockings fell a little short, I couldn't get them much higher than a few inches above my knee, which was not the look I was going for. The silicone strips around the top were okay, but not great. I didn't wear them longer than to try the on, so I can't comment on how well they would stay up for all day wear. They dug into my thighs a little, but that is the case with all hold ups. I think perhaps if you had slimmer legs and could get the pattern to sit just right, you might be a lot happier with these stockings than I was. For the price and the occasion, I was just not satisfied with them, so I will be returning them and hunting for something better for the big day.

I bought the grey version of these. The pattern is great and they are elegant with the sparkling detail but there is just a thin line of silicone around the top so these hold--ups fall down all the time and drive you nuts. They are therefore unusable as hold ups.
