The smell was not nearly as strong as some people mention in the other King Cock product reviews, I gave it a wash and didn't really notice it after that. Speaking of washing, the foreskin feature on this is removable, so really it's two dildoes in one, because the dick beneath the foreskin is just as pretty, only with less of the blue detailing on the veining, no big deal. When first washing this, I'd recommend utilizing the toy cleaner they give you before attempting to peel the foreskin part off, as if you were lubing it up; otherwise, that sucker is near impossible to peel off. Washing both is a bit fiddly at first before you get the hang of your toy, and if you aren't going to use it right away, or for storage after washing, I'd recommend storing the dildo and sheath parts separately and just slide it on using lube right before play time. Otherwise you'll have a fight on your hands with the dry rubber on rubber. Maybe this is common sense, but they don't mention it in the Care and Feeding instructions. Practical use was great! For newer users, or naturally tighter women, lots of lube and foreplay are recommended, but once you get there, this thing made me a shaky mess. It's a little more unyielding than real flesh, but only just. It could also be that this is totally normal and I've just never had a monster cock like this one before. Also, the real skin and vein texture are shudder-inducingly yummy. So yeah, feel and weight are great, size takes something to get used to, but I enjoy a challenge.
