Sliquid Swirl Pink Lemonade is a clear, moderately thin, flavored lube. It has a very citrusy sent and its flavor is sweet but not overpowering when used sparingly. Although the flavor is called pink lemonade that’s actually not how I would describe either the taste or smell. To me, oddly enough, it taste and smells like lemon Pez candy, which I actually like. The consistency is thin but not runny. This is nice because it’s thick enough for the lube to stay where you put it and provide a nice coating, but thin enough to prevent the flavor from disguising the natural taste of whatever you apply it to. Also, because its ingredients contain no sugars I had no problems using it vaginally.

Review Details: When I did my first sniff and taste test of Sliquid Swirl Pink Lemonade my immediate thought was, “If Pez candy made a personal lubricant, it would smell and taste just like this.” Honestly, testing this lube was like instant nostalgia for me. I haven’t had Pez in forever and this just took me back. Now, I am relatively disappointed because it doesn’t quite taste like pink lemonade. It has a slight lemon scent but the taste is only vaguely lemon. And although it has a sweet taste, it’s completely missing the sour undertone that usually accompanies anything lemony. That’s what I was looking for when I bought this product and it didn’t deliver in that way. That being said, it’s not bad, just not what I expected. I do like the flavor but I’ve tasted lubes I like better. Pez is definitely an acquired taste so if you were a fan of Pez candy growing up, this lube just might be for you. If not, you might want to try a different flavor.

When using this lube orally, a little goes a long way. I found that for oral use a dime size amount of Sliquid Swirl Pink Lemonade was more than enough. A small amount made everything lovely and slick, while at the same time providing just a hint of taste and a light scent to enhance the experience. If you use too much of this lube for oral play it’s actually not pleasant. Both the smell and taste become too much. It’s almost bitter. However, in small amounts you get the nice initial flavor and then it just fades into the background. It’s always there, kind of a light after taste, which is nice because you still get the natural taste of whatever you apply it to, just with a little extra.

Now, when I use it vaginally (for insertion) I do need to use more. I’m not sure why but it doesn’t last as long as some other lubes I’ve used. I definitely find myself re-applying/adding water more often, which is not ideal. However, I think it’s worth it because a good number of flavored lubes are made with sugars and should only be used for oral play. This one has no sugars so it’s nice to have the versatility that this lube provides. Plus, if you enjoy the scent, it adds a little something extra for solo play.

I’ve tried a few of Sliquid lubes and I really appreciate their products. I don’t think the smell/flavor of this particular lube will be to everyone’s taste but I would still recommend giving it a try. Even if you ultimately choose not to use it orally it still makes a good personal lubricant.
