Bathmate Essential
Rated 10 / 10

If you own, or are looking to buy a Bathmate, this Bathmate Shower Strap is an essential if you wish to use the Bathmate in the shower. It is a pretty basic design being an adjustable neck loop at one end and a plastic hoop the other that's fits perfectly over the end of the Bathmate. From personal experience I feel this product is definitely needed for the shower and does the job brilliantly, however, it is a little expensive for what it is.

Using a bathmate in the shower? You'll want one of these
Rated 10 / 10

Not much to say about it: it's a no-frills, adjustable strap, designed to help you use your Bathmate hydrotherapy pump while standing up in a shower. Holding a Bathmate up in the correct position with one hand, while trying to shower with the other is very difficult. This strap lets you actually do other stuff in the shower. Not much else to say about it really.

Essential for the Bathmate
Rated 10 / 10

For anyone that does not have a bath at home, this shower strap is essential. It's made by Bathmate, so fits the product perfectly, and is adjustable to maximise comfort. When using the Bathmate in the shower it's the best way to hold the pump without using your hands.

Excellent accessory
Rated 10 / 10

Have been using the Bathmate shower strap with my Bathmate X30 for just on a month now, very glad I paid the extra for it. Packing is extremely basic, arrives in a plastic air lock bag. The shower strap itself is made to high standards, fully adjustable to suit all heights. I use it both when in the bath and shower, it allows me to be hands free to wash, shave, etc without concerns of the Bathmate falling or putting extra pressure on my penis, especially when showering. Whilst expensive for what it actually is, it is a must-have.

A simple, but really worthwhile accessory

I was really pleased to be chosen to test the Bathmate shower strap. I own the Hydromax X30, and use it mainly in the bath, but I do like to use it in the shower quite often as well. The only thing is, to keep it on in the shower without the strap, you have to pump to maximum vacuum and, even then, it falls off, from time to time, if you don’t constantly keep hold of it. When I got the strap out of the box, it was really easy to adjust to my size. There’s a clip at the bottom of the neck loop that does the main adjustment, and another plastic adjustment point at the top. At the bottom of the strap, there’s the plastic hoop that holds on to the Bathmate. To use it, you put the strap around your neck and then put on the Bathmate as usual, pumping to the desired level of vacuum. You then hook the plastic hoop over the valve body section at the end of the Bathmate. It doesn’t clip on tightly. The Bathmate just sits in the loop, but it holds really well. Once everything is in place, it feels really secure, and much better than without the strap. One unexpected benefit I found was that this confidence that the Bathmate’s not going to fall off, means you can keep it on when walking around the house. If I’m short on time, but still want to use the pump in the morning, I put on the Bathmate with the strap and keep it on whilst I’m getting things ready for work. Overall, I am really pleased with this product, and would say it’s near essential to get the most out of the Bathmate. The only issue for me is the cost for what you are getting. I would say that £19.99 is quite steep, for what the strap is. The stitching is very secure, and the materials are up to the job, but, if I saw this in a shop, I would have to think very hard before spending this much on it. It does seem a shame to bring up this as a negative because this works really well and is the perfect accompaniment to any of the Bathmate models. If you’ve got the cash, and don’t mind paying the premium for it, you’ll be really happy with the flexibility you get from having the strap. If £19.99 feels like a lot of money to you for this, you just need to weigh up whether or not you’re happy to just use the Bathmate primarily in the bath, and hold on to it constantly when you use it in the shower.
